jungle palazzo

Jungle Palazzo forms part of our private investment portfolio — a long-term strategy focused on securing architecturally rich properties through 15–20 year leases, renovating them in partnership with investors, and repositioning them for high-performing short-term rental.

Located in Senglea, this corner palazzo was transformed into a five-suite immersive holiday residence. Each room is distinct, themed around an animal of the jungle — tiger, snake, monkey, parrot, and leopard — unified through layered colour, expressive wallpapers, and detailed tile work.

Two of the suites are conceived at a more expansive scale, with open-plan bathing rituals integrated directly into the bedroom: freestanding tubs and exposed showers positioned as sculptural elements. The remaining three offer traditional ensuite bathrooms, each with its own character.

Restoration here celebrates whimsy and history. A 1950s pink bathtub, salvaged from a house in Gozo with its original enamel sink, anchors one suite. Artisanal basins and bold surface treatments reinforce the narrative throughout. The Leopard Bathroom gained unexpected momentum in 2024, drawing over 22 million views online and driving a measurable surge in bookings during that period.

The ground floor sets the tone: a vintage damask sofa with canary yellow armchairs sits against a reclaimed Victorian altar backdrop, enveloped in a pink jungle motif. A sweeping Maltese staircase connects the levels, while the corner orientation ensures generous natural light and distant sea views from balconies.

Permits are secured for a sixth rooftop suite, with further plans to expand the guest experience above.
