parisio greco
Parisio Greco began in a familiar state: developer-grade finishes, glossy imitation marble flooring, standard bathrooms, and a layout lacking identity. Delivered as a neutral shell in Sliema, the brief was to transform it into a high-performing short-let designed to command attention — and revenue — in a competitive market.
The rework was comprehensive yet strategic. A durable, sand-toned vinyl floor replaced the reflective tile, chosen not only to soften the atmosphere but to withstand Malta’s humidity and heavy guest turnover. The palette became warm and sun-washed — beige, travertine, oak tones, and textured granite — creating a space that feels bright, playful, and quietly refined.
Bathrooms were sculpted in light beige microcement, with cream zellige tiles lining the showers above pebble flooring. A deliberately thickened wall forms a recessed shower niche on one side and concealed storage on the other. Integrated trough planters and hanging greenery soften the architecture.
The interiors lean Mediterranean bohemian, punctuated with surrealist and postmodern gestures. Curved furniture silhouettes, Greek column bedside tables, burnt orange velvet lounge chairs, and a graphic Beni Ourain rug animate the space without overwhelming it. Custom-made beds elevate both comfort and durability, while fully adjustable lighting allows guests to shift from vibrant midday to intimate evening.
The 40m² terrace faces the distant silhouette of Valletta and features a fully private heated pool clad in concealed decking. From the master bedroom, sliding doors open directly onto the terrace — and into the water.
A once-generic shell reimagined into a distinctive, revenue-optimised Mediterranean retreat.
